Henri Macquart founded the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne in 1972 as a storage and vinification unit to serve winegrowers, federated around cooperative or individual wine presses, and it got its present name in 1986. The CV - CNF is the leading union of producers in Champagne, and Nicolas Feuillatte is one of the largest champagne brands with more than 9 million bottles sold in 2008.
Nicolas Feuillatte created his brand in 1976, after inheriting a vineyard near Reims, the Domaine de Bouleuse. Purchased in 1986 by the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne, the brand has continued to grow. Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte is an exception in a world where the leading brands have built their image and reputation on a history of more than a hundred years. Nicolas Feuillatte remains the brand’s ambassador in France and around the world.
